The Black and Decker SPCM1936 comes almost fully assembled and takes about 5 minutes to unpack, assemble and plug it in. The mower is also well designed even though it is mostly plastic – this just makes it lighter and easy to maneuver. More great features of the Black and Decker SPCM1936 most loved was that you can disengage the blades but still use the self propel to move the mower around or to store it, the single point height adjustment is incredibly simple to use and the variable speeds make mowing a breeze. Other great advantages of the Black and Decker SPCM1936 are less noise, less mess, very few moving parts and zero pollution. Even when the grass was high and thick this mower never got bogged down.

What’s not to love about the Black and Decker SPCM1936? There is virtually no vibration from the mower. It makes about half as much noise as a gasoline engine mower. It starts up with the push of a button and pull of a lever. It moves itself around my yard with the flip of another lever. It mulches, bags, or rear discharges with the twist of a knob. It will never rust. It recharges in about an hour. It costs pennies to run. It costs nothing per year in maintenance. I never have to carry around a gas can ever again”. There were a few people that had issues with the Black and Decker SPCM1936 being underpowered and they sent them back. I just find it hard to believe that the vast majority of people were extremely pleased with the mowers performance and just one or two had issues. As the saying goes you can please some of the people some of the time but you cannot please all of the people all of the time. Fortunately Amazon have an outstanding policy when it comes to customer support and I’m sure these few were immediately refunded.

Considering the huge support for the Black and Decker SPCM1936 I can confidently recommend this mower very highly.
